Who “we” are shapes how we work.
We specialise in the social identity approach (Tajfel & Turner, 1979; Turner et al., 1987): understanding how people’s group memberships and shared sense of “us” shape how they think, feel and act.
We help leaders and groups apply this understanding: examining what matters to different groups, whose perspectives are heard and what change means for belonging and continuity.

5R is one way to work with Synact: a structured leadership development programme grounded in the social identity approach.
Developed by researchers at The University of Queensland and their partners, the programme’s copyright is owned by The University of Queensland. Its commercialisation company, UniQuest Pty Ltd, granted Synact the worldwide exclusive licence for 5R.
